Lara Bricker was a crime reporter in New England, when she stumbled upon the James Keown murder trail.
Keown, a Jefferson City native was accused and ultimately convicted of killing his wife, Julie, by poisoning her with antifreeze.
She found the case to be "intriguing from the beginning," Bricker said. "It was full of twists and turns, each time you thought something else could not come up, it did."
Bricker's book, "Lie after Lie: The True Story of a Master of Deception," explores the string of lies Keown told his wife Julie, their friends and family for years.
