2 Missouri marching band members killed in crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Two members of the University of Missouri marching band are dead and one is seriously injured after a crash four miles south of Muskogee, Okla.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports 19-year-old sophomore Jeremy Porter of Independence and 20-year-old junior Sean Radcliff of Bloomsdale were killed just after 8 p.m. Sunday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Porter was driving a 2001 Ford Focus when he lost control and the car left the highway, striking a tree.

A third person, 20-year-old Ryan Iadanza of Columbia, suffered head and arm injuries and was hospitalized in stable condition.

School of Music director Robert Shay says the three were traveling from Texas to Missouri when the crash occurred.
