First Presbyterian Church is multifaceted.
On Sunday morning, the congregation will celebrate its "founders," or members who have been in the church 50 or more years, during its traditional services, complete with liturgy and structured prayers.
Then Sunday evening, they will introduce a contemporary service - Sunday Night Live @ Five, featuring energetic music, casual dress, and art and drama-enhanced messages.
Not only will Pastor Rob Erickson deliver a different sermon topic than the Sunday morning traditional service, his preaching style will be more dynamic, exploring the biblical text in ways that are intellectually challenging and experientially engaging.
