A motorcycle rider was hurt in a mid-day accident Wednesday during a funeral procession.
And that accident has members of the family in that procession and law enforcement officials wanting to raise awareness about traffic laws involving funeral processions.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at West Dunklin and Broadway streets.
James Scheulen was in the procession's family car and told a reporter Friday he was talking about the possibility of an accident when it occurred.
Scheulen's brother, Randy Scheulen, had been killed in a motorcycle accident last Saturday.
