Lengthy scoreless span does in Helias

When Deion Hughes swooped in from the left wing, snagged a pass from Aaron Vossen and laid the ball in early during the third quarter, it matched the biggest lead for the Helias Crusaders in Thursday night's game with the St. Francis Borgia Knights.

Hopefully the Helias faithful enjoyed the pretty play, because it was the only basket they'd see from the Crusaders for a long, long time.

Helias didn't make another shot from the field for more than 10 minutes of game time, and the drought cost them in a 32-25 loss to the Knights at Rackers Fieldhouse.
