Mihaiu Purza

Mihaiu Purza, age 79, of Caransebes, Romania, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014, at his home. He was born on July 3, 1935, in Baleni, Romania, the son of the late Gheorghe and Lucretia Purza. He worked for the railroad for many years and then retired. He was married 52 years to Constantana Berendel, who survived of the home. Other survivors include: one son, Gheorghe Purza; one daughter, Lenuta Connell; six grandchildren, Robert G. Purza, Adriana M. Budean, Patsy Connell, Kenneth Connell, Timothy Connell and Maggie Hoelscher. He was of the Orthodox Christian faith and burial was held in Caransebes, Romania.
