Timothy Scot Karle, 61, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at his home. He was born on June 12, 1957 in Topeka, Kansas, a son of the late Henry Joseph and Betty (James) Karle. On May 29, 1982, he was united in marriage to Joyce A. Willibrand, the love of his life, in Jefferson City. Tim graduated from Jefferson County North High School in Winchester, Kansas and attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He was employed in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and served as a District Manager. Tim was employed for over 20 years by the State of Missouri. He worked for the Department of Social Services and currently for the Department of Mental Health. He enjoyed refereeing high school volleyball and basketball. Tim coached many youth sports throughout the years. He was an avid golfer and loved any and all trivia challenges. He served as an Elder, Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Capital City Christian Church. Tim was currently a member of Capital West Christian Church. Most of all, he cherished the times spent with his family and especially his grandchildren. Along with his wife of 36 years, Joyce, he is survived by his children: Christina Linhardt (Richard) of Jefferson City and Andrew Karle (Chelsea) of Lee's Summit; grandchildren: Madison Linhardt, Lauren Linhardt, Brady Karle and Wade Karle; his father-in-law: Jerome Willibrand; brother: John Karle (Keri); sisters: Connie Daniels (Mike) and Jeanie Karle; sisters-in-law: Deanna Karle, Sharon Keppler, and Kim Allen (Bob); brothers-in-law: Brian Willibrand and Gary Willibrand; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his brother: Mark Karle and mother-in-law: Theresa Willibrand. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2019 at Capital West Christian Church. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
