Deonte Jaquan Gainwell

Deonte Jaquan Gainwell, 20, of Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, in Columbia. Deonte was born on March 11, 1998, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Alicia Gainwell and Belafonta Williams. He moved with his mother for better opportunities to Columbia in August of 2000. Deonte was a scholar of Columbia Public Schools. He graduated in May 2016 from Douglas High School. Then he immediately enrolled in Bryan University completing his Associates Degree in Business & Management in July of 2018. Deonte inspired to have a successful career in Real Estate in Texas where he was planning to move to live his best life. Deonte leaves to cherish his memory his mother Alicia Gainwell of Columbia, MO; his father Belafonta Williams of Springfield, MO; his brother Daitravon Gainwell of the home; his grandmother Magnolia Gainwell of Poplar Bluff, MO; brothers and sisters, Michael Wallace, Cierra Williams, Christina Williams, Zachary Williams, Belafonta Williams, Jr., Tyler Williams, LaJasna Williams, TeShawnta Dudley, Vandelica Campbell, Timothy Williams, Miracle Williams, Odyssey Hall, Envy Williams; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by Angel baby sister Dai Ona Fay Jones; grandfather Albert Thornton; and grandmother Rebecca Williams-Jones. Private family services were held at Dulle-Trimble Funeral in Jefferson City. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
