Ryan Allen Burns

Ryan Allen Burns, 20, of Holts Summit, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019, in Callaway County. He was born on January 22, 1999, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Mark Allen Burns and Jennifer Michele Reed-Locke. Ryan was a 2017 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He started his working career employed with Warehouse Tire in Jefferson City and was currently a tire technician. Ryan enjoyed listening to all genres of music and hanging out with friends. Any free time he had was spent riding four wheelers or in the wind on his Harley Heritage Softail. He was a motorhead all the way but also liked a good race. Ryan was known for his smile and always had one even on a bad day. Most of all, Ryan cherished the times spent with his family. Ryan is survived by his mother: Jennifer Locke of Holts Summit; father: Mark Burns of Holts Summit; maternal grandmother: Mary Jones of Holts Summit; paternal grandmother: Margaret Burns of Holts Summit; paternal grandfather: Charles Burns of Holts Summit; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Ryan is also survived by his constant companion and one of a kind pitbull, Buster. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Apple Creek Farm, in Centertown, with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the family of Ryan Burns.
