Andrea D. (Turner) Harris, 64, of Jefferson City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Capital Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1954, in St. Louis, a daughter of the late John H. and Louise (Parks) Turner. In 1978, she was united in marriage in St. Louis to Bettolan Harris, who preceded her in death. Andrea graduated from Kinloch High School. She attended Lincoln University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She worked for Chesebrough-Ponds, the Prenger Family Center and Lincoln University. Andrea was a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jefferson City Alumni Chapter. She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she served on the Culinary Committee, past chairman of the Singles Ministry and past chairman of the Audio/Visual Ministry, and she also sang in the Inspirational Choir. Andrea enjoyed cooking, traveling, casinos, cruises and photography. She mostly cherished spending time with friends and family. She is survived by daughter: Betty Ann Harris of Jefferson City; siblings: Sandra Turner of St. Louis, Diane Spencer (Johnnie) of St. Louis, Regina Turner of St. Louis, Loretta Ford of St. Louis, Angelia Snider-Mosby of Atlanta, Joyce Snider of Atlanta, and Maurice Snider of Atlanta; her dear devoted friend: Sue Kelly of Jefferson City, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and family members. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Jefferson City. An Omega Omega Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth Sr. officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the family of Andrea Harris.
