Nada Maxine DeWeese, 95, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. She was born February 22, 1923, in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of the late Emory Raymond and Hazel Pauline (Kebert) Shoop. She was united in marriage on April 5, 1953, in Neodesha, Kan., to Dale Charles DeWeese, who preceded her in death on November 28, 2007. Nada worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company in Colorado Springs as an Operator and Supervisor. While living in Colorado Springs, she was a member of Fellowship of the Rookies Church. After Dale and Nada moved to Jefferson City, they were members of First Baptist Church. Nada enjoyed traveling, reading, delivering meals to the elderly, and playing card games. Survivors include one sister, Norma (Dwight) Duke, Jefferson City; six nieces and nephews, Michelle (Jason) Ford, Russellville; Michael (Abigail) Duke, Linn; Anita (Craig) Jones, Idaho; Barbara Hess, St. Joseph, Mo.; Betty Lou Rice, Craig, Colo.; Jerome (Debra) Kreller Jr., Las Vegas, Nev.; and several great- nieces and nephews including Andrew Ford, Katherine (Steven) Gutierriez, Blaine Duke, and Eller Duke. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Roberta Kreller; and one brother, Raymond Eugene Shoop. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Sager and Rev. Stewart McWilliams officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Mission Fund, 301 E.
