Marjorie Ann (Wekamp) Roll, 85, of California, Mo., passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo., surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 16, 1933 in Centertown, Mo., the daughter of Lawrence Wekamp and Francis (Meller) Wekamp Sartain, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a 1953 graduate of California High School. On August 8, 1953, she was united in marriage at St. Martin's Catholic Church to Paul Roll, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church and active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4027 in California, Mo., where she served as Auxiliary Secretary for many years and enjoyed volunteering. Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Deanna Dale and Darla Roll of California, Mo.; two beloved grandsons, Chase Marshall of California, Mo. and Liam Schatzer of Warrensburg, Mo.; three brothers, Lawrence "Sonny" Wekamp (Pat) of Elston, Mo., Robert Wekamp (Shirley) of California, Mo., and Allen Sartain (Patty) of Elston, Mo.; two sisters, Patricia Schloo of Branson, Mo. and Evelyn Steelman of Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers-in-law, Charlie Roll (Pat) and Harold Roll of California, Mo.; four sister-in-laws, Joyce Hees (Vencil) and Glenda Williams of California, Mo., Barbara Hank of Lake Ozark, Mo., and Judy Orscheln of Moberly, Mo.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Roll, and sister, Betty Walters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Annunciation Catholic Church in California, Mo. Visitation will be before the Mass from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Officiating will be Fr. Tony Rinaldo. Burial will be at the Annunciation Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Annunciation Catholic Church Cemetery or donor's choice, c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
