Jonathan Robert Bode

Jonathan Robert Bode, 43, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Holts Summit, Missouri. He was born May 30, 1974, in St. Charles, Missouri the son of Donald Joseph and Eleanor Ida (Pfautsch) Bode. A 1992 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science in Geography from Northwest Missouri State University. He worked for many years doing computer mapping as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyst. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral Parish. He was also a member of GIS Professionals. He loved to play trivia, listen to music, and go to the movies. He also enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. Survivors include his mother, Eleanor Bode, Holts Summit; two sisters, Tammy Bode, Jefferson City and Mary (Sean) Korte, Glasgow, Mo.; one brother, Tom (Liz) Bode, Manchester, Mo.; and nine nieces and nephews, Brooke Bode, Joseph Korte, John Korte, Paige (Tyler) Fehling, Tess Korte, Joshua Korte, Ryan Bode, Jacob Bode, and Lauren Bode. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bode; paternal grandparents, Henry and Lillian Bode; and maternal grandparents, Hugo and Hilda Pfautsch. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Jonathan R. Bode Memorial Fund.
