Margaret Rita Kirsch

Margaret (Marge) Rita Kirsch, age 79, of Russellville, Mo., passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City, Mo. She was born October 13, 1938 in Highland, Ill., the daughter of Ralph and Rena Wilkerson Moore, both of whom preceded her in death. Margaret attended Edwardsville High School. She was united in marriage August 20, 1955 in Edwardsville, Ill. to Norman A. Kirsch, who preceded her in death in 2002. Margaret retired from Kroger and was a member of the Meat Cutters Association. She enjoyed cooking, reading, shopping, traveling and playing Bridge, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Marge will be sadly missed. Survivors include: one daughter, Cheryl Lynn Kirsch (Samuel Alvin) Marcum of Russellville, Mo.; two brothers, Chester Moore of Belleville, Ill. and Ralph Moore of Edwardsville, Ill.; two sisters, Evelyn Kuhlman of Edwardsville, Ill., and Vivian (Bernard) Stelzer of Collinsville, Ill.; and one grandson, Riley Jackson Kirsch Marcum. Along with her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Kevin Kirsch. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Edwardsville, Ill.
