John H. Partee

John H. Partee, 71, of Jefferson City, passed away on July 16, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on March 6, 1947, in Earle, Arkansas, a son of the late Joe Lee Partee and Annie Lowery. On December 16, 1972, John was married to Wilma Houston in Jefferson City. He attended high school in Earle, Arkansas. John enlisted in the United States Army and continued his service with the Missouri National Guard. He proudly served his country in Operation Desert Storm. John owned and operated his own truck transportation business and also worked for several years with the State of Missouri. John enjoyed fishing but most of all loved spending time with his family. Along with his wife of 45 years, Wilma, he is survived by four children: Renee Chambliss Moss (Eric) of Pontiac, Michigan, Racquelle Partee of Euless, Texas, Robin Partee of St. Louis, and Lance Partee of Jefferson City; nine grandchildren: Torrie Moss, Aja Baker, Sade Washington, Daia Ford, Tsai Ford, Jayla Partee, Alicia Partee, Adrian Partee and Audriana Partee; one brother: Vernell Partee (Mary) of Houston, Texas; two great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many family and friends. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services with full military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Rev. Marion S. Mitchell officiating.
