Anna Lee (Tripp) Gawer

Anna Lee (Tripp) Gawer, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born on March 2, 1930, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Edgar Clyde Tripp and Mathilda (Dampf) Tripp. Anna worked at the State of Missouri at Animal Health Lab and Josh's Restaurant. She was known for her love and dedication to her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed embroidering. She made Christmas the most joyous and fun filled time of the year. She is survived by her two daughters: Vivian (Bruce) McKay of Lake Ozark, Donna (Gary) Viessman of Jefferson City; two grandchildren: Brian Wilder of Jefferson City, Justin Viessman of Jefferson City; numerous nieces and nephews; one half-sister: Kay (Leo) Fennewald, one half-brother: Gary Tripp; one step-sister: Sandy Kliethermes;. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter: Jessica Oetting; two brothers: Harold Tripp, Paul Tripp; four sisters: Martha Holmes, Margaret Pringer, Marie Prenger and Helen Lovins. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with Pastor Don Fankhauser officiating. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum.
