Frank "Larry" Wiedlocher

Frank "Larry" Wiedlocher, age 67, of Salem, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at home. He was born June 27, 1949 in Anna, Illinois to Carl and Dorothy (DeMonde) Wiedlocher. Larry graduated from Anna-Jonesboro High School. On December 28, 1968, he was united in marriage to Gloria Green in Carmi, Illinois. He served with honor in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. Following discharge, Larry graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry. He was an avid reader and always enjoyed learning, raising small animals, farm work, and hiking in the great outdoors. He had a personal relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Wiedlocher of the home in Salem; children, Bradley A. Wiedlocher and wife Sylvia, St. Louis, Zachary B. Wiedlocher and wife Laura, St. Louis, Stephanie A. Hough and husband Peter, Alton, Illinois; brothers, Carl Wiedlocher III, Las Cruces, New Mexico, George Wiedlocher and wife Jeanne, Carbondale, Illinois, David Wiedlocher and wife Clare, Lebanon, Tennessee; sisters, Sharon Martin and husband Gale, Midland, Texas, Penny Ottesen and husband Bill, Centerville, Tennessee, Regina Siadek and husband Jim; grandchildren, Cedric, Elias, Eden, and Asher; extended family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Carl and Dorothy Wiedlocher; sister, Anne Jenette Wiedlocher; and brother, Christopher Wiedlocher. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Community Church in Salem, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations to Paralyzed Veterans of America and/or Life of Hope Ministries, Joplin, Missouri would be appreciated. Arrangements under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
