Anna Marie Ruettgers, age 82, of Bonnots Mill, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Westphalia Hills. Anna Marie was born on October 23, 1934, in Glencoe, Missouri, a daughter to the late August and Caroline (Schaefer) Werner. Anna Marie was a 1952 graduate of Fatima High School. On June 2, 1956, she was united in marriage to Harry Ruettgers in St. Thomas, Missouri. He survives of the home. In addition to being a homemaker, Anna Marie worked for the State of Missouri and Green Meadows Day Care. Anna Marie was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek, St. Ann's Sodality, the Quilting Circle and Osage County Historical Society. Anna Marie enjoyed genealogy, gardening and working in her flower beds. To their union of 61 years, nine children were born: Gene (Mel) Ruettgers, Paul (Dottie) Ruettgers, David (Ann) Ruettgers, Gerald (Lisa) Ruettgers, Edmund (Tammy) Ruettgers, Raymond Ruettgers, Mary (Dave) Luebbert, Rose (Chuck) Kowieski, and James (Julie) Ruettgers. Additional survivors include: eight grandchildren, Larrisa (Johnny) Ruettgers Brandt, Katelyn Ruettgers, Tyler Ruettgers, Alexander Luebbert, Travis Ruettgers, Megan Ruettgers, Derek Ruettgers, and Ashley Ruettgers; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer Carr, Sandra Lo, and Rita Steiner; one great-grandson, Henry Brandt; six step- great-grandchildren with one on the way; one brother, Don (Darlene) Werner; one sister, Doris (Charles) Schroeder; two sisters-in-law, Eldora (Frank) Hurst and Grace Radmacher; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by: her brother, Robert Werner; sister-in-law, Mae Ruettgers Boyd; two brothers-in-law, Peter Radmacher and Norman Boyd. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek with Fr. Louis Nelen as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
