Elta V. Bishop

Elta V. Bishop, 76, of Centertown, Mo., passed away at Moniteau Care Center on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. She was born on March 13, 1940 in Fairdealing, Mo., the daughter of Henry High and Ina Collins, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married in 1981 to R.C. Bishop who also preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Doniphan High School. She worked as a supervisor for Boone Hospital Food Services for many years. She enjoyed sewing, the PBR and eating pizza. She is survived by two brothers, Herbert High of Centertown, Mo., Henry High of Fairdealing, Mo.; two sisters, Lorene Farrer of Fairfax, Va., Pansy York of Doniphan, Mo.; one grandchild; and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one son, Darren Isenberg, and one brother, Arthur High. Services will be at a later date.
