Isabelle Hees Williams

Isabelle Hees Williams, 91, passed away January 15, 2017, in her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was born March 24, 1925, to Lena and Irl Hees. Isabelle was the oldest of six children, including, Carl Hees (Ruth), Barbara Woodard, Albert Hees (deceased), Jack Hees (deceased) and Elizabeth Fisher (deceased). They all grew up on a farm in Eldon, Mo., where Isabelle loved reading under the apple trees. At 16, she met her future husband, Dean Williams, at the Aurora Springs Baptist Church and were married July 5, 1944, during World War II. They lived all over the country, first in McComb, Miss., then Albuquerque, N.M., followed by Reno, and finally settling in Las Vegas in 1962. Isabelle loved working as a realtor in the Las Vegas area for 46 years, before retiring at 84. They loved spending time boating and fishing on Lake Mead and traveling in their motor home. They had three children, David Williams, Deanne Kelly (deceased), Roger Williams (deceased); and a daughter-in-law, Linda Williams. Dean and Isabelle were blessed with two grandchildren, Kara McDaniel and Crystal (James Webb); 10 great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Jacob McDaniel, and Karina (Ben Boyd), Chrissy, Thomas, Berlyn, Tierra, Brendan, Stephanie, and Marissa Webb; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kinley and Maverick Boyd. Isabelle was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She brought happiness to everyone around her and will be deeply missed. Funeral Service was at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
