Theola Oneal

Theola "Maye" Oneal, 89, of California, Mo., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, with her family at her side, in California, Mo. She was born on April 6, 1926, the daughter of John Tandy and Eula May Hill Williams. Maye was a long time waitress at Nic Nac Café, California, for many years. She had retired January 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to everyone. Maye is survived by: three sons, William Harned, Danny Harned and Mike Hall (Shawna); one daughter, Carla Fairfax; five grandchildren, Carl Watts Jr. (Tiffany), Rick Watts, Rachel Miranda, Dustin Harned and Carl Ross; five great- grandchildren, Taylor, Alli, Chesney, Hailie and Kylie; one sister, Juanita Murphy; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: four brothers, Donald Williams, Junior Williams, Kenny Williams and Robert Williams; three sisters, Marjorie Wolfe, Wanda Delozier and infant sister Grace Williams; and infant daughter, Carla Sue Harned. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon Saturday, August 12, 2017 with services following at noon at First Baptist Church in California. Interment will be at Hickman Cemetery near Clarksburg. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 208 South Oak Street, California MO 65018.
