Mitchell Dewaine Pointer

Mitchell Dewaine Pointer, 45, of Kirksville, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at his home in Kirksville, Missouri. He was born November 13, 1971, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Jerry D. and Barbara A. (Lueckenotte) Pointer. Mitchell previously worked as Shop Manager at Fischer Auto Body and Extreme Body & Paint. He loved to draw, play his guitar, and watch NASCAR. Mitchell is survived by five sons: Bailey Pointer, Riley Pointer, Avery Pointer, Casey Pointer, Brady Pointer; his parents: Jerry and Barbara Pointer of Holts Summit; two sisters: Nancy Plaster (husband Kevin) of Centertown; Terrie Miller of Holts Summit; three granddaughters, and one granddaughter on the way; three nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces and three great-nephews. A Private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Slater-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Holts Summit, with Rev. Alan Earls officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
