Judy Mae Webster Veit

Judy Mae Webster Veit, 72, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on July 13, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Vernon Webster Siegel and the late Lela Ruth (Fisher) Siegel. Judy worked in Highway Reciprocity for Missouri Department of Transportation. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her son, William Veit (Elizabeth) of Jefferson City; daughter, Vanessa Rae Veit of WA, and Kelly Dye of Holts Summit; brothers, James Siegel (Martha) of New Bloomfield, John Siegel (Becky) of Guthrie, Jerry Siegel (Lois) of Fulton, and Jeffery Siegel (Glenda) of New Bloomfield; sisters, Joan Keeling (Jimmie) of New Bloomfield, Jackie Salmons (Joe) of Fulton, Jean Masek (Larry) of Fulton, Janice Brueggeman of Fulton, and Joy Birkner of the state of La.; grandchildren, Nick Dye, Adia Veit, and Dalton Veit; and several great-grandchildren. Judy is also survived by long-time companion, Jack Custard; his children, Rusty and Scott Custard; and their children. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by infant brother, Jay Hall Siegel; and brother, Joe Siegel and his wife JoAnn; and brothers-in-law, Gilbert Brueggeman and Frank Birkner. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2015, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Walter Lockhart officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Guthrie Cemetery.
