Carolyn Knernschield

Carolyn Knernschield, 67, of Olean, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born November 30, 1948, in Cole County, Mo., the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elsie (Ott) Knernschield. Carolyn was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Honey Creek, Mo., and graduated from Eldon School in 1966. She was a member of the 66 Girls. Carolyn enjoyed working on the farm with her cattle, gardening and spending time with her pets. Survivors include sister, Jeanette Fischer and husband Gus of Lohman, Mo. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo., with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeffrey A. Schanbacher officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Garden Cemetery in Eugene, Mo. Memorials in her name are suggested to Spring Garden Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
