Susan Elizabeth Keller-Cash, 47, of Castle Pines, Colo., formerly of Holts Summit and Tebbetts, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, following a courageous 15-month battle with cancer. Born April 24, 1969, in Tulsa, Okla., she attended Jefferson City High School and was a 1991 graduate of William Jewell College where she received a degree in Psychology. Susan was an elementary school teacher at Clear Sky and Larkspur elementary schools in Colorado where she taught special needs children. She played on her high school and college tennis teams and served as head coach of the girls tennis team at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo. Baptized at Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit, Susan was a life-long Christian who was strong in her faith and service to others. She was an active member of Mountainview Community Christian Church in Highlands Ranch where she taught Sunday school. Susan's greatest joy was in being a loving mother and devoted wife who loved to spend time with her family while supporting them in their numerous extracurricular activities. She is survived by her husband, Richard Cash of Castle Pines, Colo.; five children, Zachary, Kathryn, Jessica, Kariss and Jackson Cash, all of Castle Pines; her father, William Keller of Castle Pines; her mother and stepfather, Donna and Jim Trammell of Holts Summit; her brothers, Chris Keller of Bolivar, Mo. and Steve and wife Kristin Keller of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; nephews Andrew and Cole Keller; her uncle and aunt, Wayne and Patricia Merrill of Columbia, Mo.; cousins, Martha and husband Dan Ellebracht of O'Fallon, Mo. and Amanda and husband Jeremy Thiele of Columbia, Mo. Susan will be honored with a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. Friday, July 22, at Greenwood Community Church in Englewood, Colo. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Jill Lamb Foundation, a non-profit organization created to assist families with loved ones suffering from breast cancer while educating the public about the risks associated with the disease.
