Benny Bob Stewart

Benny Bob Stewart, 73, of Holts Summit, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born June 7, 1940 to Lloyd and Mafrey (Powell) Stewart in Big Hill, Ky. He was united in marriage to Ida Shelley, who survives at the home. Benny served in the U.S. Army, was a Vietnam Veteran, and a Purple Heart recipient. He is survived by two sons, Brian (Candace) Stewart of Burleson, Texas, and Bobby Stewart of Sand Gap, Ky.; three daughters, Brenda Stewart of Burleson, Texas, Donna and Renauta Stewart of Sand Gap, Ky.; and one sister, Betty (Amos) Anglin of Berea, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, February 21, at the Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit with Kenneth Shelley officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Summit Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
