T. Diane Crismon - Simpson

T. Diane Crismon - Simpson, 53, of Eldon, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at her residence. On June 4, 1960, she was born in St. Louis, the daughter of Kenneth W. and Treva M. (Taylor) Crismon. Diane was a 1978 graduate of Eldon High School, named Salutatorian of her class, voted Homecoming Queen, was a Varsity cheerleader and played with the high school band. She graduated from CMSU in 1982 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Personnel, and received an MBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was employed with Modern Business Systems, IBM and the Missouri Hospital Association. Diane was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldon, and a longtime member of the Lake Area Community Orchestra. She volunteered for many years for the local Military Graveside Honors playing TAPS. Survivors include: a daughter, Leah Simpson of the home; a son, Will Simpson of the home; her parents, Kenneth and Treva Crismon of Eldon; her sisters, Connie Ackerman of Carrollton, and Cheryl Henningsen of Carthage; and a brother, Taylor Crismon of Eldon. Visitation will be Wednesday April 23, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Eldon, with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shirley Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Tuscumbia Cemetery in Tuscumbia. Memorials are suggested to the Lake Area Community Orchestra or the First Christian Church of Eldon.
