James Hoelscher Bimini

Mr. James Hoelscher Bimini, age 55 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, September 6, 2013, at the Villa Marie Nursing Center. Jim was born March 6, 1958, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of James R. and Betty M. Gardner Hoelscher. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Jim attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a 1976 graduate of Jefferson City High School. Jim was an accomplished guitarist who also enjoyed gardening, bicycling, and the outdoors. Survivors include: his mother, Betty Robinett of Jefferson City, Mo.; four brothers, David L. Hoelscher of Jefferson City, Mo., Thomas A. Hoelscher and his wife Karen of Jefferson City, Mo., Michael L. Hoelscher of Jefferson City, Mo., and Gary W. Hoelscher and his wife Diane of New Bloomfield, Mo.; two step- sisters, Yvonne M. Brooks and her husband Dan of Leawood, Kan. and Dawn R. Forrester and her husband Noel of Edgerton, Kan.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Hoelscher, and his step-father, Edgar Dewane Robinett. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Samuel Powell officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Millersburg Cemetery, Millersburg, Mo. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hospice Compassus.
