Clarence J. Fitzpatrick

Clarence J. Fitzpatrick, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his home in Riverview, Fla. He was born in Vienna, Mo., on April 27, 1925. He resided in Seffner, Fla., and most recently, Riverview, Fla., since April 1977. Clarence, or "Fitz", was a WWII veteran who served in the US Navy from 1944-1945. He was an Internal Revenue Service Agent in St. Louis, Mo., and retired from the Government after 30 years. Fitz was a lifelong Catholic and a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church, Riverview, Fla. He was a devoted father and grandfather to his six children and seven grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, David (Maureen), Gary, and John; daughters, Joan (Jack), and Janet (Charles); and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Bauer and Lucille Brune, Freeburg, Mo. Fitz was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his son, Tim; and his parents, Daniel and Mary; and four siblings, Henry, Margaret, Leonard, and Lawrence. A private interment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
