Mark D. Wheatley

Mr. Mark D. Wheatley, age 56 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at his home. Mark was born September 13, 1956, in Moberly, Mo., the son of A. Duane and Hattie L. Netherton Wheatley. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Mark was a 1974 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1978 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Economics. He was a 1981 graduate of the University of Missouri Law School. He was employed as an attorney with MoDOT and the Missouri Public Service Commission. Mark was a member of the Missouri Bar. Survivors include: his parents, A. Duane and Hattie Wheatley of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Susan Davis and her husband Gene of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother, Ken Nichols and his wife Deanna of New London, Mo.; one niece and five nephews. Private graveside services and interment will be conducted on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Riverview Cemetery.
