Norma Lee McCarter

Norma Lee McCarter, age 85, of Fulton, Mo., died Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Fulton Manor. She was born December 20, 1927, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Lilburn and Videll Null Pratte. Ms. McCarter was of the Lutheran faith and was a retired food service employee at the Williamsburg Public School. She was united to marriage to Cecil Eugene McCarter in St. Louis in 1942. Survivors include her children, Gary (Terry) McCarter of Auxvasse, Mo., Sharron (the late Roger) Collings of Auxvasse, Mo., Dennis (Jean) McCarter of Highland, Fla., and Michael (Shirley) McCarterof Fulton, Mo.; a sister, Betty Plummer; and a brother, Robert Pratte; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; and two brothers, L.J. and Richard "Dick" Pratte. A private family gathering will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013. Her body was cremated.
