Jerry Steinman
Jerry Steinman, age 60, of Russellville, passed away Thursday,
May 16, 2013, at his home following a brief battle with cancer.
He was born May 3, 1953, in Jefferson City, the son of Henry
and Louise Bruning Steinman, both whom preceded
him in death.
Jerry was united in marriage April 10, 1976, at
St. Martins Catholic Church to Shelley
Lindenbusch, who survives at their home.
He was a 1971 graduate of Russellville High
School and served his country in the United
States Navy from 1972-1975.
Jerry was a member of Carpenters Union,
Local 945. At the time of his retirement in 2005 he
was a foreman at Modern Interiors.
He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Russellville.
Jerry enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, cattle farming,
crappie fishing, deer and turkey hunting, arrowhead and mushroom
hunting, working in his vegetable garden and watching
NASCAR.
In addition to his wife of 37 years, he is survived by three
children, Eric (Jana), Miranda (Chris) and Brent (Emily); four
grandchildren, Reilly, Masen, Matayah and Donaven; two brothers,
James (Mary) Steinman of Texas and David (Debbie) Steinman
of Russellville; one sister, Cathy (Brian) Welch of Jefferson
City; brother-in-law, Marshall Miles of Russellville; along with
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patty Ann Miles.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Monday,
May 20, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 21,
at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Russellville with Father
Stephen Jones officiating. Interment, with military funeral honors,
will be in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Russellville.
