Larry Dee Leppard

Mr. Larry Dee Leppard, age 67 years, of Lake MyKee, Mo., passed away at his home on Tuesday evening, March 26, 2013. Larry was born on June 2, 1945, at an Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Ollie Dee and Dora Mae Carson Leppard. He was married on November 22, 1982, at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California to Cheryl Sue Brendler. He was a 1963 graduate of San Bernardino High School in San Bernardino, California where he was very proud of his baseball accomplishments as a catcher and enjoyed deep sea fishing with his father. Larry served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict from January 1965 until October 1968. He was employed as a title officer with numerous title companies in California and Missouri. A resident of Jefferson City for the past five years, Larry was currently working with the State of Missouri as a title insurance investigator. In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing tennis and cherished time with his family. Survivors include: his wife of 30 years, Cheryl Leppard; one son, Michael Leppard and his wife Jennifer of Southern California; three daughters, Danielle Leppard of Brentwood, California, Apryl Goodman of La Quinta, California, and Chelsea Leppard of Holts Summit, Mo.; one step-son, Andy Aaron and his wife Mary; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
