Brent Kelly Wilbers

Brent Kelly Wilbers, 43, of Jamestown, died Saturday, March 23, 2013. He was born on May 11, 1969, in Jefferson City, a son of Harold William and Bonnie Ramsdell Wilbers. Brent was a 1987 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He worked as a concrete finisher for Raithel Brothers Construction. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, snow skiing, and working on the farm. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter Claire. He cherished the companionship of his chocolate lab, Ozzy. He is survived by his daughter: Claire Wilbers of Jefferson City; his father: Harold Wilbers of Jamestown; one brother: Mike Wilbers (Becky) of Jefferson City; one niece: Alara Wilbers of Jefferson City and a special friend: Gina Tetly of Holts Summit. He was preceded in death by his mother: Bonnie Wilbers, and one niece: Rachel Wilbers. Friends will be received from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Monte Shinkle officiating.
