Linda Kay Darity

Linda Kay Darity, age 64 years, of Russellville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her home. Linda was born July 14, 1948, in Cassville, Mo., the daughter of Louie H. and Bertha P. Davison Darity. Linda graduated from Granby High School in Granby, Mo. and Crowder College in Neosho, Mo. Linda was employed as a secretary both with the First Baptist Church in Granby, Mo. and First Baptist Church in Neosho, Mo. for several years. A resident of the central Missouri area for over 30 years, she was employed with the Missouri Baptist Convention and recently as an administrative assistant with the Missouri Baptist Foundation in Jefferson City. She was an extremely creative person and enjoyed making floral arrangements for special occasions and oil painting. Survivors include: two sisters, a niece and nephew, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Doyle Sager and the Reverend Robert Sisney officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Grandby Memorial Cemetery in Granby, Mo. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Linda K.
