Thresa Lynn McQuaid

Thresa Lynn McQuaid, 47, of Jefferson City, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. Thresa was born on August 12, 1965, in Columbia, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest Schrader and Janet James. Thresa attended Cole R-5 High School in Eugene, Missouri. She was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and collecting unique rocks. She was also a talented artist, and loved to draw. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her little dog, Minnie, of 14 years. Along with her mother and step-father, Janet and Everette Wright of Eugene, she is survived by daughters: Amanda Hinton (Andrew Toalson) of Jefferson City, Ashley Hinton of Jefferson City, and Amber (Beau) Brinker of New Bloomfield; brother: William Westfall Sr. of Eugene; sister: Christine Austin of Eugene; maternal grandmother: Ida James of Henley; step-brothers: Craig Wright, Kevin Wright, and Ronald Wright, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and her six grandchildren: Cierra, Brooke-Lynn, Haidyn, Summer, Brianna, Brittney and one on the way, Trinity. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with funeral services following at 12:00 noon with Reverend Ron Thomason officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Hill Cemetery immediately following the service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
