Luella Marie Stone

Luella Marie Stone, 89, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at Oak Tree Villa. She was born August 6, 1923, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Edwards) Huddleston. She was united in marriage to Carnie Stone, who preceded her in death. Luella was a 1941 graduate for Central High School in Springfield. She was employed as a secretary with the Frisco Rail Road in Springfield and was later office supervisor for the Missouri State Highway Department for more than 20 years where she retired. She is survived by one son: Eddie Joe "Grizz" Stone of Miami, Oklahoma; one granddaughter: Jadi Stone of Vermont; and five great-grandchildren.
