Mrs. Alicia D. Boessen, age 33 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at her home surrounded by family. Alicia was born February 11, 1980, in Marshall, Mo., the daughter of Mike and Jeanine Clouser Davis. She was married on October 2, 2010, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Christopher Boessen. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Alicia was a 1998 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 2002 graduate of Williams Woods University with a degree in business and marketing. She was employed as a sales supervisor with CenturyLink for the past 11 years. Alicia was a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity at Williams Woods University. She had a great sense of humor and loved spending time outdoors. Alicia cherished laughing and creating memories with her friends and family. Survivors include: her husband, Christopher Boessen; one son, Bo Boessen; two step-daughters, Addison Boessen and Brooke Boessen; her parents, Mike and Jeanine Davis of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Sarah Wilkinson and her husband Sherman of Jefferson City, Mo.; her father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Cheryl Boessen of Jefferson City, Mo.; her maternal grandmother, Lois Harriman of Ashland, Mo.; her paternal grandparents, William and Frances Davis of Marshall, Mo.; her maternal step-grandmother, Louise Clouser of Cole Camp, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Alice Davis; a great-grandmother, Alice Anne Shelnutt; her grandfather, Donald Clouser; and a step-grandfather, Russell Harriman. Visitation will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville, Mo. from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013. A celebration of Alicia's life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Reverend I.C. Medina officiating. Graveside service and inurnment will be held in the Mausoleum of St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many people that have offered thoughts, prayers, and support through her illness.
