Henrietta A. Havlik

Henrietta A. Havlik, 94, of Tebbetts, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at her daughter's home. She was born November 30, 1918, in Vlachova Lhota, Czechoslovakia, a daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Nevada) Tichy. She was a graduate of Farragut High School in Chicago, Illinois. On September 14, 1940, Henrietta was united in marriage in Berwyn, Illinois, to George F. Havlik, who preceded her in death on December 3, 2000. Henrietta worked for John Zelezny Company starting in 1936, and also worked as a Teller and Secretary for the Public Savings and Loan Association. She was a member of the Riverside Homemakers in Tebbetts, and loved to bake and enjoyed gardening. She especially loved babysitting her grandchildren and then her great-grandchildren, especially Hannah. She is survived by two daughters: Carol Adamik (Tom) of Tebbetts; Georgiana Cullison (Paul) of Spring Grove, Illinois; five grandchildren: Joe Adamik (Julienne) of Tebbetts; Bob Adamik (Laura) of Tebbetts; Karen Fisher (James) of Holts Summit; Cynthia Labno (Paul) of Algonquin, Illinois; Jeffrey Cullison (Linda) of Streamwood, Illinois; three great-grandchildren: Hannah Adamik, Grayson Adamik, Piper Adamik and Stephanie Adamik; three sisters: Mary Havlik (late Albert) of Orland Park, Illinois; Dolores Pernicka (late John) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Elinor Vitek (late John) of Sawyer, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Lillian Kostka (Louis) in 1936. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
