Carol J. Loesch

Mrs. Carol J. Loesch, age 76 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at St. Joseph's Bluffs. Carol was born February 26, 1936, in Jefferson City, Mo. the daughter of Burrow and Marguerite Schmidt Sanders. She was married on September 25, 1969, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Marvin H. Loesch. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Carol was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She also attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. and Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo. She was employed as a secretary with the Missouri Baptist Convention for 22 years prior to her retirement. Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church; a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Epsilon Sorority at William Jewell and a member of the Alpha Phi Delta Honorary Fraternity at Central Missouri State University. Survivors include: her husband of 43 years, Marvin H. Loesch, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Doyle Sager officiating. Graveside services and entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church or St. Joseph's Bluffs.
