Mary Louise Rojas

Mary Louise Rojas, 63, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born October 11, 1949, in Belvidere, Illinois, the daughter of the late Howard J. and Kathryn M. (Maroney) Sanford. Mary attended Washington Elementary School in Belvidere, Illinois and was a 1967 graduate of Belvidere High School. She was employed with Kmart Corporation from 1982 to 1990. She was then employed with Scholastic Corporation until her retirement in 2010. Mary loved shopping, watching television, going to the casino, and spending time with her granddaughters. She is survived by one daughter: Anita Kranak (husband Ray) of Sheridan, Missouri; one sister: Janet Sanford of Jefferson City; one sister-in-law: Theresa Sanford; two aunts: Elsie Sanford of the state of Illinois; Evelyn Sanford of the state of Texas; one uncle: Earl C. Maroney of Holts Summit, Missouri; one niece: Jennifer Sanford; three granddaughters: Kayla, Kara, and Karianna Kranak. She was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Sanford. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Murl Nash officiating. Interment will be held in Highland Garden of Memories, Belvidere, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
