Rosalie Antonia Gerling

Rosalie Antonia Gerling, 87, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1924, in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul and Helena Kutscher. She was united in marriage to Melvin John Gerling on April 13, 1947, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1990. She graduated from Riverview High School in St. Louis. Rosalie and her husband farmed the family owned, Century Farm in St. Louis County. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Black Jack, Missouri. Rosalie enjoyed spending time and volunteering at church. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and she was an amateur photographer. She is survived by her two sons: Don Gerling of Jefferson City and David Gerling of O'Fallon. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September, 20, 2012, in the Chapel at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
