Juanita P. Fowler-Ousley

Juanita P. Fowler-Ousley, 62, of Jefferson City, passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2012, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born March 7, 1950, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Ambers Sylvester and Geneva (LeCure) Fowler. On September 20, 1970, she was united in marriage to Terry Ray Ousley, who preceded her in death November 13, 2007. Juanita was employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections in Fulton, Shell Oil Company Convenience Stores, and Jefferson City Orschelns. She was a member of the Jefferson City Christian Center. Mom enjoyed watching T.V., playing cards, video games, cosmetology and studying Native American History. She also enjoyed Country Western Music, especially Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by four children: Tara Ann Courtney (husband Robert) of Jefferson City, Herbert Daniel Ray Ousley of Bruceton, West Virginia, John Mark Ousley (fiancÈ Leslie Hippensteel) of Houston, Texas and James Edwin Ousley ( wife Christina) of Jefferson City; two brothers: John Fowler (wife Jackie) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Norman Fowler (wife Lisa) of Jefferson City and eight grandchildren: Britney Lee, Juanita Faith Shrae, Herbert Tyler Lee, Chase Elmer Ray, Sara Lynn Nicole, Isaac Lee Harrison, Elijah William Charles and Noah Edwin Ray. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a child, Dolly L. Maples, four sisters and one brother. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Douglas Crader officiating.
