Robyn Boustead

Robyn Sims Boustead, age 65 years, of Columbia, Mo., died Monday, October 29, 2012, at the Boone Hospital Center. Robyn was born April 9, 1947, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Alden A. and Mary Martha Sims Stockard. A life-long resident of the Central Missouri area, Robyn was a 1965 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1970 graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia. She also received a M.P.A. from the University of Missouri. She was employed as a Research Associate with the Missouri Institute of Mental Health in Columbia. Robyn was a member of the Unity Church in Columbia where she sang in the choir. Survivors include: one son, Seth M. Boustead and his wife Maria of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Korin J. Boustead of Jefferson City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Brady S. Smith and Emerson S. Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private family service will be conducted at a later time with entombment in the Mausoleum of Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Unity Church of Columbia or the American Lung Assn.
