Laurine F. Hertzing, age 78, of Rich Fountain passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, at Autumn Meadows Skilled Nursing Facility in Linn. Laurine was born December 13, 1933, in Loose Creek, a daughter to the late Herman and Theresa (Jaegers) Kremer. Laurine attended Immaculate Conception School in Loose Creek. On September 13, 1958, Laurine was united in marriage to Alfred H. Hertzing in Loose Creek. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1981. Laurine was a homemaker and also worked at Still Hospital, later Capital Region Medical Center, in the housekeeping department for 27 years. Laurine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain and also attended St George Catholic Church in Linn. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She also liked to travel and play Bingo at McDonalds in Linn. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Laurine is survived by: one son, Charlie Hertzing of Rich Fountain; two daughters, Carol Deeken and her husband John of Linn and Cheryl Schreiman and her husband Doug also of Linn; one brother, Harry Kremer and his wife Dorothy of Loose Creek; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Morton Chapel in Linn. There will be a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with Fr. Philip Niekamp and Fr.
