Norma J. Mueller

Mrs. Norma J. Mueller, age 81 years, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of St. Louis, Mo., passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, at St. Mary's Health Center. Norma was born on July 21, 1931, in Wellsville, Mo., the daughter of the late John and Helen Casner Blankenship. She was married on October 27, 1951, in St. Louis, Mo., to Robert G. Mueller, who preceded her in death on July 10, 2002. A lifelong resident of the St. Louis area, Norma graduated from Jennings High School. Norma and Robert moved to Florida to enjoy their retirement. They enjoyed many trips together and traveled the world visiting every country except Australia. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Leesburg, Fla. Norma enjoyed making crafts for family and friends, especially Christmas ornaments and stockings for her grandchildren. Survivors include: her daughter, Susan (Ronald) Morice of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Michelle (Matt) Bernskoetter of Jefferson City, Mo., Melissa (Brad) Starke of Linn, Mo., and Matthew (Mallory) Morice of Fulton, Mo.; five great-grandchildren, Aaron Starke, Noah Swafford, Elijah Bernskoetter, Jonah Bernskoetter, and Katlyn Starke; and one niece, Melody Goltz of Michigan. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012, in the Freeman Chapel.
