Justin Raymond Turner, 32, of Holts Summit, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born September 13, 1980, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Jerry and Rhonda Kay (Chmidling) Turner. He was a 1998 graduate of Jefferson City High School and went on to attend the Wyoming Institute of Technology, where he received his degree in Auto Collision Technology and Hot Rod and Custom Car Building. Justin worked at Advanced Auto Parts and Everything Cinema, where he was building large movie screens across America. He enjoyed going to swap meets, trading guns and building muscle cars. Justin was a gifted artist and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents: Jerry and Rhonda Turner of Holts Summit; one brother: Benjamin Joseph Turner (wife Jennifer Mackay) of Holts Summit; maternal grandfather: David Chmidling of Jefferson City; paternal grandmother: Betty Turner of Jefferson City; one niece: Mackayla Turner, and one nephew: Gaege Turner, both of Holts Summit. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Doris Chmidling and his paternal grandfather: Gale Turner. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Towns officiating. (The family encourages everyone to bring their Muscle Cars to the funeral and they will be lined up for the procession to the cemetery). Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
