Edwin J. Poettgen

Edwin J. Poettgen, age 86, of Ferguson, Mo., was Fortified with Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Ramona (nee Schneider); loving father of Karl, Lindsay (Patricia); dear grandfather of Megan (Jeff) Morton, Marine Lcpl Ben Poettgen; brother of Jeanne Fick, Marilyn, Harry (Mary) and Ralph (Susan) Poettgen, and Eileen (Stan) Bondurant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Sr. and Emma Poettgen and brother, LeRoy (wife Edna) and James Poettgen. His body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine. Memorial Mass will be at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Ferguson, Mo. Saturday, November 17, at 11 a.m. Masses or donations to the American Heart Association appreciated.
