Robert Rickerson

Robert "Bob" Rickerson, 90, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at his home. He was born May 4, 1922, in Chillicothe, Missouri, the son of the late Lloyd O. and Golda E. (Eaton) Rickerson. On October 6, 1944, he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Alnutt, she preceded him in death on June 13, 1983. Bob attended Chillicothe High School and was a 1949 graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Bob served in the United States Army Air Corp. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Blue Lodge #43, Royal Arch Mason #34, Cryptic Mason #32, American Legion Roscoe Enloe #5, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2693 and United Sportsman Club. He is survived by two sons: Robert "Mark" Rickerson (wife Marilyn) of St. Charles and Jeffery A. Rickerson (wife Christi) of Lenexa, Kansas; one sister: Martha Ann Gall of Lenexa, Kansas and two grandchildren: Brad Rickerson and Justin Rickerson (wife Melissa). He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elton "Rick" Rickerson and William "Bill" Rickerson and a sister, Betty Lou Harvey. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment with full military honors will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
