Tommy Lairmore

Mr. Tommy W. Lairmore, age 82 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at his home. Tom was born February 12, 1930, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Joe H. and Elsie Shackelford Lairmore. He was married to Sybil Wrigglesworth, who preceded him in death in May 1983. A resident of the Jefferson City area for most of his life, Tom was employed in the maintenance dept. for the City of Carlton for several years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and keeping busy. Survivors include: seven daughters, Jane Langdon and her husband Dave of Wallport, Ore., Karen Sheldon and her husband Rick of Oregon, Ill., Donna LeBlanc and her husband Tom of Baker City, Ore., Debra Calhoun and her husband Roger of Jefferson City, Mo., Cindy Arnette and her husband Gary of Reno, Nev., Tammy Lotspeich and her husband Dave of McMinnville, Ore., and Gail Crawford of Salem, Ore.; three brothers, Bill Lairmore and his wife Dorothy of Centertown, Mo., Larry Lairmore of Jefferson City, Mo., and Jerry Lairmore of Jefferson City, Mo; one sister, Wanda Shintol of Jamestown, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters, and one brother. Private graveside services and interment will be conducted at the New Hope Cemetery near Marion, Mo.
